Thunder Bay's lodging units are all condo type units with living rooms, compact kitchen & dining areas with a gas log or electric fireplace. Most of your guests will have a better time if they share occupancy with several other friends or couple(s), and it will be their best value as well. All have decks overlooking the golf course, woods and/or ponds in summer and cross country ski trails in winter.

Thus our 34 units are more nearly like 65 to 70 hotel rooms in overall capacity with 118 queen and double beds plus 34 Queen size sofa sleepers. See details below. We can create a maximum of 8 singles by splitting off one bedroom and bath from our two bedroom two bath Villas, leaving the balance as a one bedroom suite. An alternate approach is to put 3 people into one of our 700 sq ft Suites with the third person occupying the living room as a second bedroom with a fully made up Murphy type wall bed. Privacy can be maintained sharing the split bath see floor plan that shows a door at each end of the hallway to the kitchen bath area - allowing privacy for both sleeping areas.

With a little planning and cooperation on room assignments Thunder Bay can easily handle up to two full coaches at the same time for lodging and for the Elk Viewing, Carriage Ride, Gourmet Dinner and Wine Tasting.

Even on a multi-day trip involving lodging at other locations with traditional hotel rooms, it may be worthwhile to present a highbred package with some single, double occupancy in other locations and triple, quad and 6 at Thunder Bay Resort. A little extra effort required, but worth the time especially where yours guests are an affinity group and know each other.
